Join Three Story Tellers for an American Day at the Museum. We will meet at the Franconia/Springfield Metro Station and travel to D.C. via metro train. In D.C. we will experience life as some of the American Girl historical characters might have. Guided by the Three Story Tellers (two adult chaperones will accompany the children) up to 10 children ages 8 to 12 will "museum" hop and visit the American History, Natural History and the National Museum of the American Indian to experience what life may have been like for some of our favorite American Girls. We will visit the "official" Addy Smithsonian exhibit as well as other appropriate period exhibits for the characters. We will have discussions and activities that make it a fun and educational event, designed by us. We will also visit the live butterfly exhibit in the Natural History Museum to celebrate Lanie.

We will provide the chaperones, the itinerary, an mid-morning snack and all of the fun!

Kids should bring lunch money ($10 - 15), we will visit one of the museum restaurants for lunch (some of the museum websites say that outside food is not allowed). Our chaperones will assist children with selecting and paying for lunch.
