Ammunition Theatre Company (or Ammo) was founded in Los Angeles, California in 2014 by a group of passionate artists/activists whose diversity is reflective of the ever-changing identity of the American public. Through their community work, these artists realized that although society had transformed, popular culture had not changed to reflect that transformation – leaving many communities and their stories in the dark. Our mission is to produce work that features underrepresented stories told in innovative ways, while actively working and creating in our community. We will use our art as ammunition to foster change in the world.
