First Annual Midway Foundation Cancer conference in conjunction with The Annie Appleseed Project:

When: 10AM - 4PM light lunch included

Purpose:

To educate people with cancer, and interested others, about natural therapies, complementary and alternative medicine for cancer. To introduce strategies to reduce risk of ocurrence or recurrence. To offer useful tips and information on reducing unwanted (side) effects of conventional treatments. To examine some popular CAM treatments from both the provider and the patient/advocate perspective.

Ann E. Fonfa, Founder and President, The Annie Appleseed Project, survivor, patient advocate

Julia Chiappetta, author, Breast Cancer - the Notebook, survivor, patient advocate will moderate a patient panel

Linda Isaacs, MD works with Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez on the Kelly/Gonzalez protocol

Connie Jennings, acupuncturist and internist at the University of Kentucky

Organic food, giveaway bag, silent auction items
