In this fast-paced and hands-on 1-day RavenDB bootcamp, delivered by RavenDB founder Oren Eini (Ayende Rahien), we will concentrate on improving our RavenDB skills.

Assuming basic knowledge of RavenDB, we will discuss advanced RavenDB features in depth and learn how they can be used in your applications.

  • Data modeling with RavenDB
  • Map/Reduce
  • Advanced querying
  • Full-text search
  • Caching and cache utilization
  • Extending RavenDB
  • Scaling out - sharding and replication

We will also have a Q&A session - so come prepared with questions from your projects.

 
Requirements
 
This is a hands on workshop. Students must have a laptop running VS2010 and Chrome Browser. Prior experience with RavenDB.
