Foodstory offer an opportunity to learn how to make traditional Japanese sweets that go well with tea. Known as wagashi, Japanese sweets are made of simple ingredients, often beans, sugar and rice flour, but the seasonal recipes and cooking techniques used to make these treats are numerous.

To heighten your tasting experience, the tea and sweets will be served in select pieces from Foodstory's extensive collection of Japanese tea ware that Yoko inherited from her grandmother who loved to conduct tea ceremonies. Yoko will teach you how to make the best cup of tea at home and how to drink it the Japanese way.
