Fremont Elementary Chess Championship

Registration:

This USCF rated tournament is open to any player from kindergarten to sixth grade. 

Early Registration: $20 by 1/30   Regular Registration: $25 by 2/20

Late Registration & Onsite Registration: $30 after 2/20   Onsite registration accepted before 9:30 a.m.

Maximum of 40 entries will be allowed per division.

Varsity Division: Over 1000   Junior Varsity Division: Under 1000

Must be a valid USCF member to register.

Rounds:                       

4 rounds for all divisions.

Game in 45: players get 45 minutes each. Pairings will be made in a Swiss system.

Round 1:  10:00 a.m.

Round 2:  11:45 a.m.

Round 3:  1:30 p.m.

Round 4:  3:15 p.m.

Awards:   5:00 p.m.

Trophies will be awarded to the top 5 players and the top 3 schools in each division.

School points are based on the top 4 players’ scores.

Winners of all divisions will receive the title of Fremont Elementary School Champion. Varsity Division winner will also receive a $100 scholarship.

Note: Those who live outside of Fremont may still participate and win a trophy, but the title and scholarship check will only go to a Fremont resident.
