| The Actor's Fund provides emergency financial aid to assist cultural workers, performers and actors in recovering from an illness, injury or other circumstances causing severe economic and personal hardship.
In 2008 Daryl Makk needed this fund after a hit and run driver knocked him off his motorcycle leaving him with broken bones and being unable to work. It was help from the fund that allowed Makk to meet some of his financial obligations when his injuries made it difficult to keep working.
Now Makk wishes to help give back to this worthy cause and is donating his show for an evening of laughs, including many jokes he wrote about his incident. Tragedy + time = comedy
