underlying mechanisms, and diagnosis of overtraining syndrome and have the opportunity to practice the
latest recovery and regeneration techniques to prevent overtraining from ever occurring in the first place.

Dr. Michael Hartman is a Professor of Exercise and Rehabilitative Sciences and Coach at BlackBox Strength
& Conditioning. He has previously worked as a Sports Science Research Assistant at the US Olympic
Training Center where he was a member of the inaugural USA Weightlifting Performance Enhancement
Team. Dr. Hartman is the co-author (along with Dr. Lon Kilgore and Justin Lascek) of FIT and maintains, where he publishes information related to training for the sport of Olympic
Weightlifiting and Overtraining & Recovery.
