Through
this program, participants will learn more about the psychosocial
needs of the local community; issues of literacy, housing,
unemployment, homelessness, and immigration/ migration; how local
organizations, residents, and small businesses are building a
stronger community; The Hispanic community, cultural celebrations,
unique foods, and similarities/differences within the Latino
community in the region; Dia De Los Muertos/Day of the Dead; and
clinical issues specific to working with the Latino population.
Course Fees: $109.00, all inclusive
(5 CE Clock Hours certificate, program material, lunch, snacks, museum admissions, bus)
