LUNAFEST is a national film festival that features short films by, for and about women. LUNAFEST was established in 2000 by LUNA®, makers of the whole nutrition bar for women to simultaneously promote women filmmakers, raise awareness for women’s issues and support worthy women’s nonprofit organizations. This year 9 LUNAFEST films will be featured. The films range from animation to fictional drama and cover topics such as women’s health, motherhood, body image, relationships, cultural diversity and breaking barriers.
This event will also feature a cocktail reception, grand silent auction and the Junior League of Martin County Women's Exposition, where you will be able to visit with various non-profits serving Treasure Coast women & children and shop with premiere vendors of jewlery, handbags, stationery and more!
All proceeds from LUNAFEST Treasure Coast are donated to charity. 85% of profits will remain with the Junior League of Martin County for our local programs and projects. The remaining 15% goes to LUNA’s primary cause partner, the Breast Cancer Fund.
Doors open at 6:30. The films will begin at 7:30 PM. |
