Imagine no more, as the The Plein Air Convention & Expo presented by Plein Air Magazine will be the largest gathering of outdoor artists in history. Hosted at the Red Rocks Resort & Spa in Las Vegas, at the edge of the Red Rocks National Conservation Area. Some of the greatest artists and most passionate aficionados will gather to share ideas, paintings, tips and techniques.

Sessions will include demonstrations by high-level artists, tips from collectors and galleries, marketing ideas and workshops on how to improve yourself as an artist, critique sessions and and how to better run your art business. We’ve invited and will have many of the big suppliers showcase their latest products.

Your admission ticket grants you access to ALL all demos and events. (Hotel not included in admission price)

Unlike other events YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR INDIVIDUAL WORKSHOPS.

Master artists will be set up in the field on the days we paint. You will be able to watch one, then move on to the next and the next. They will be well marked and you can watch as many as you wish. There will be many to choose from. We’ve invited loads of masters and mentors and you can set-up, paint side by side or observe them.

Plus you’ll make history when you participate in the World’s Largest Paint Out. We plan to get you in the Guinness Book of World Records with over 750.

Come and mingle with old and new friends and get to know some of the best painters on the planet. Everyone is welcome whether you’re professional, semi-professional, amateur or just curious. You’ll learn from one another as you paint side by side and view paintings from one another in the evenings. Collectors are welcome to attend as well.
