The latest trend in film has arrived: a perfect unity between couture designer brands with the glossy pages of high fashion editorial and motion. These are the elements of the fashion film. On August 25th, 2012, ModaCine Films in cooperation with the San Francisco Bay Area Fashion Network is launching the first ever San Francisco International Fashion Film Festival. SFIFFF will provide viewers a look at what fashion film is, as its own genre that has recently become more popular, as well as demonstrate how fashion film is being utilized creatively and strategically by brands. The collection of films this year will be literally a visual journey around the world lead by a wide gamut of fashion professionals as our guide.

The event will be held at the beautiful Grand Ballroom of the West Bay Conference Center on the Fillmore in the heart of San Francisco's jazz quarter. This one evening event will feature fashion installation art work from multiple fashion designers based in San Francisco, live performance art and costumed models mingling and engaging guests for the night. During which there will be three screenings of multiple fashion shorts by talented directors from all over the world.
