Advanced Knife Skills (Butchery) 2:30 pm $125 If you have taken our Knife Skills 101 class, or already feel you are proficient with a blade, but want to try your hand at butchery, then we invite you to join us for this advanced class. We will cover knife skills & safety techniques, basic anatomy, discussion of sourcing meat, and we will be breaking down: chicken, whole fish and a side of lamb. Everyone will go home with the meat they fabricate. This class does not involve any cooking, but you will bring home your work. This class is limited to 8 students. ________ The Chicks - Suzanne and Rachael - teach CWK classes together, bringing you all of our culinary expertise and our lighthearted approach to being sharp in the kitchen. We provide aprons, but ask you bring your own, 10-inch Chefs knife. All classes include beverages and appetizers to sample while we cook. The event address will be sent out with paid reservations. We will meet in a fantastically beautiful space near the Fairfax exit of the 10 freeway in the Mid-City area. |
