You might ask yourself why the cost for this conference is so little.  We're well aware the Registration cost alone for other comparable events is often at least $500 and many times exceeds $1000.  The reason for this is simple.  We didn't want anyone, and we mean anyone, with an interest in open source software and education to miss out because of money.  We've traveled to many conferences around the country and world and have been amazed at how expensive it has become.  While we're not against people making money by any means, we believe accessibility to the content should be the focus.  We've made every effort to assure this access.
